On Monday, the minimum temperature in the Capital was 5.7°C, which is below season's normal by 4.6°C satisfying the criteria for cold wave conditions in Delhi.

Scientists said that in some areas, especially the Western and Central parts of the state, the temperature is likely to fall below 8-10°C — with fog expected, especially in the morning hours.
