New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): Clearing the air over reports of suspension of the Foreign Secretary-level talks with Pakistan, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Vikas Swarup on Thursday said Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar spoke to his Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhary and both have agreed to reschedule the talks in the near future. Swarup further added that India welcomed Pakistan’s move to order an investigation into the Pathankot terror attack.

Patna, Jan 14 (ANI): Talking of the Foreign Secretary level talks between India and Pakistan, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shatrughan Sinha on Thursday said to build friendly relations there should be uninterrupted talks between the two countries. Sinha also urged people not to comment on Pathankot attack as it is a sensitive issue and different opinions can further deteriorate the situation. Sinha stressed that as the matter was of nation’s safety, security and integrity, therefore the country should speak in one voice.

New Delhi, Jan 07 (ANI): Amid speculations that the Foreign Secretary-level talks could be called off by New Delhi in the wake of the Pathankot terror attack, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday put the ball in Pakistan's court and said the future course of action would be decided after Islamabad's response to actionable intelligence provided with regard to the fidayeen strike. Addressing the media, Swarup said the government's policy towards Pakistan is clear and consistent.
