Missing teen's body found near UP CM's residence

Lucknow, Feb 16 (ANI): A body of a Class 12 girl, who went missing on February 10, was recovered this morning from near Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's residence here. The girl had left for school on February 10 and when she did not return, her parents filed an FIR. The girl was allegedly sexually assaulted. Lashing out at the UP Government, Bahujan Samaj Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya said this incident shows how irresponsible is the state police and government. Echoing similar sentiments, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Suresh Khanna said the girl was found dead in a drain between DGP headquarters and CM's residence, still no serious measures have been taken till now.
