New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): In a major setback to the Congress, the Supreme Court on Thursday vacated the status quo order of maintaining President's Rule in Arunachal Pradesh, thereby giving its nod to government formation in the state. After going through High Court and assembly records, the Supreme Court decided that it doesn't see any reason to interfere with HC order at this stage. Lawyer Satyapal Singh said the SC has transferred the case of revocation of 12 suspended MLA's to Guwahati High Court.

New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): National Communist Party (NCP) leader Majeed Memon on Wednesday said President Pranab Mukherjee approved the imposition of central rule in Arunachal Pradesh “under pressure” from the BJP-led NDA and alleged that extreme situations to throw out a democratically elected government did not exist in the state.
