Comedian Mir Afsal Ali’s viral Eid post explains exactly what’s wrong with the society

In his post, he narrated an episode from the Eid morning when he had visited the Tipu Sultan Mosque on Anwar Shah Road to offer his prayers. He heard the cleric praying for all the ‘Muslim’ brothers who are suffering at the hands of others. “Aaiye sab mil kar duaa karte hain tamaam musalmaan bhaaiyon ke liye jo taqleef mein hain, jin par zulm kiyaa jaa raha… Allah unhe raahat bakshe,” he said.

Mir, in his post, points out what’s wrong with the statement the cleric made. “Imaam saahab (muaaf kijiye), yahin pe toh maar khaa gaye aap…

Zulm musalmaan pe nahin, INSAAN par ho raha hai.. (Imam sahab, this is where you went wrong, the wrong is not being done with a Muslim, but a human)” he wrote.
