Well for chicken lovers around, Kentucky’s Fried Chicken aka KFC bring in more joy and happiness than any other thing. And as much as they enjoy their fried chicken, over the years thousands have tried to decode Colonel’s secret. Well, even though we are out of luck to discover that moment, when one can yell out Eureka, one man in South Dakota, US actually discovered that KFC follows only 11 users on Twitter and they became the biggest pun of the social media this year.
It’s a well-known fact that the secret recipe contains 11 herbs and spice and with them following five Spice Girls and six men named Herb, the Internet lost all its calm and lauded their brilliance. But KFC who is a social media star decided to laud the man who solved their puzzle and even rewarded him! Yes, Mike Edgette, who goes by @edgette22 on Twitter received a unique gift — a painting of himself riding on Colonel’s back with of course a KFC fried leg. Nothing but our modern day Vikram and Betaal! (READ: Enjoy a bubble bath that smells like fried chicken, thanks to KFC Japan’s bathbomb)
Edgette shared his discovery on Twitter on October and his tweet broke the Internet with over 7 lakh likes.

Soon, the Colonel himself endorsed his social media skills on LinkedIn but they did not stop there.
Weirdest part of this whole thing is the @kfc Colonel adding me to @LinkedIn & endorsing me for social networking.
Didn’t see that coming. pic.twitter.com/V8WRbNQRk6

Now, after the painting, it has also led to conspiracy theory and many users on Reddit feel he is guerrilla campaigner for the brand. However, he has denied any such connection and said, “I’m just a guy who spends too much time on Twitter.”
