The BJP is likely to emerge as the single largest party in the coming Lok Sabha polls with 217 seats, while the Congress will be reduced to about 73 seats, and the AAP will get around 10 seats, according to an opinion poll conducted by ABP News-Nielsen.
According to the survey, the NDA is likely to get 236 seats, gaining 10 seats as compared to the opinion poll conducted last month. The UPA is likely to get 92 seats, while the other parties may get 186 in all. The poll said the BJP’s Narendra Modi seemed to be the clear choice as PM, with over 57 per cent respondents backing him. While 17 per cent supported Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, only 3 per cent wanted AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal as PM.
