The magistrate also directed Pachauri to inform the court and the Investigating Officer about his return to India on July 9.
A Delhi court on Saturday allowed TERI Director General R K Pachauri, facing sexual harassment allegations, to travel to the US for attending the last rites of his brother-in-law. Metropolitan Magistrate Shivani Chauhan allowed him to travel abroad from June 29 to July 9.

The court directed Pachauri to report to the Indian Embassy after reaching the US and also inform the court and the Delhi Police after his arrival in India.
The Delhi court also sought his travel details, directing him to furnish the itinerary, photocopy of the tickets as well as his passport before it.
The travel permit was given to Pachauri on the condition that he shall not visit any other country and will deposit two sureties of Rs 2 lakh each.
