Sacrifice your sons, not goats: BJP MLA to Muslims

"In the legend of Ibrahim, a goat takes the place of his son. Either you sacrifice your sons. If you can't do that, don't sacrifice animals at all,'' BJP MLA Usha thakur said.

BJP MLA Usha Thakur said Friday that Muslims should sacrifice their sons and not goats if the ritual of qurbani was so important.

“In the legend of Ibrahim, a goat takes the place of his son. Either you sacrifice your sons. If you can’t do that, don’t sacrifice animals at all,” the MLA said in Indore.

“When I say qurbani of sons, I don’t mean they should be slaughtered like goats. They can sacrifice their lives for the country,” the Indore MLA told The Indian Express.
