Model-turned actor Milind Soman has been approached for a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani. This period drama based on the love story between the Maratha Peshwa Bajirao and his second wife Mastani will see Soman in an action packed avatar , He  is required to learn the art of Kalaripayattu (a form of martial art). Soman was last seen in David and Jodi Breakers before that.

The first look of Bhandarkar’s next film, Calendar Girls, was revealed earlier in the week. The movie will star five models. However, their names haven’t been revealed yet.
