Kapil Sharma announces return of The Great Indian Kapil Show; Priyanka Chopra confirms her appearance: ‘You better be ready’

The makers have promised an “unexpected” guest line-up on the Netflix stage this season. From World Cup champions and global superstars to Gen Z icons, Bhojpuri stars, and more, the new season promises a surprise in every episode. The promo also shows Kapil and his teammates with the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, who lifted the World Cup trophy this year.

Like previous seasons of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Season 4 will also feature Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Sunil Grover in action. Meanwhile, Archana Puran Singh and Anvjot Singh Sidhu will be seen as permanent guests on the show. The promo shows Kapil Sharma performing skits in different characters, while Sunil Grover returns in Salman Khan’s avatar and Kiku and Krushna appear in new looks as well.

Priyanka Chopra shared a photo of herself on a flight travelling to Mumbai. She tagged Kapil Sharma and wrote, “Kapil Sharma you better be ready @thegreatindiankapilshow.”

Talking about the new season and his many avatars, Kapil Sharma shared in statement, “Har baar lagta hai ki ab toh sab kar liya, naye season me kya karunga, lekin phir aapka pyaar aur aapki umeed mujhe kuch naya karne ka rasta dikha deti hai, iss baar bhi aap hi ki ummeedo ne mujhe bahut se naye kirdar aur sath hi wo kirdaar jo aapko humesha se pasand aaye hain, unhe nibhaane ka rasta dikhaya hai … toh aapke liye comedy ke wo saare avtaar lekar aa raha hoon Netflix par, season 4 me … jo hoga comedy ke universe ka multiverse yani mastiverse.”

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4 will start streaming on Netflix from December 20, with new episodes every Saturday at 8 pm.
