Last week after day one collections, Pulimurugan had already set a record in Malayalam cinema by becoming the movie to collect a hefty sum on a single day as none of the film.

The Mohanalal hit Pulimurugan, after making a stupendous start minting close to 4.8 crore, shook the Kerala box office by becoming the fastest grosser to cross the Rs 20-crore mark in five days. “@Mohanlal ‘s #PuliMurugan rocks #Kerala Box office.. Becomes the fastest movie to cross ₹ 20 Cr. mark at the #Kerala Box office.. 5 days,” trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted.
Last week, after day one collections, Pulimurugan had already set a new record in Malayalam cinema by becoming the first movie to collect such a hefty sum on a single day as none of the films, including superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali, has achieved such a feat. Releasing on the same day along with Thoppil Joppan, the movie had managed to earn twice as much as Mammooty’s film on its opening day.
