However, a recent video featuring a heartfelt conversation between a father and his young daughter about career pressure offers a different perspective on this belief.
The now-viral video shows a young woman going through a breakdown while her father tries to reassure her over a phone call at 2 am. With tears in her eyes, the woman patiently listens to his motivational words. The man can be heard comforting and encouraging her, saying, “Aisa nahi hai ki doctor banenge tabhi kuch hoga (It is not like you will be successful only if you become a doctor).”

He goes on to say that there are other good career paths in India. “Aisa nahi hai ki teri umar bhot jyada hogayi (You are young right now),” he says, adding, “Don’t be under pressure, kid. Stop studying. There are times when people get bored with studying and following a routine. It is totally fine. You are an intelligent student, and I am not old yet. Please, don’t worry.”
