Blues legend BB King has left the hospital after being admitted over the weekend reportedly of dehydration resulting from Type II diabetes.

The 89-year-old artist’s official Facebook account posted a message saying he has returned home, reported People magazine.

“I want to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes. I’m feeling much better and am leaving the hospital today,” the note read. He was hospitalised near his Los Angeles home.

In October 2014, dehydration forced King to cancel a tour.
