Actress Katie Holmes, who has directed a short documentary about legendary Romanian Olympic gymnast Nadia Comaneci, says she has learnt an important lesson from her that family matters more than any kind of success in life.

Holmes, 36, who makes her directorial debut with “Eternal Princess”, said Nadia is a wonderful person and now, a great friend, reported E! Online.

“Nadia is such a wonderful human big, perfection on all levels and just cool and funny and she’s a great mom. She’s taught me that it’s great to have huge success but the most important thing is her family,” Holmes said.

The actress has a nine-year-old daughter Suri with former husband Tom Cruise.
