Man found dead at Versova beach in Mumbai

The man, estimated to be aged between 21 and 24 years, was found lying on the rocks at the beach by locals at 7.30 am, says police.

“There was Rs 16,000 in cash in his pocket but no other document to identify him. We have sent the body to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem,” said Kiran Kale, senior inspector, Versova police station.
He said photographs of the man, wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans, had been sent to all police stations in the city to check if a missing person’s complaint had been registered.
