Tribals come together for their ‘rights’ on 62nd De-notification Day

To mark the 62nd De-notification Day of various nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes,more than hundred tribals from across the state on Saturday pledged to come together and campaign for the rights that they claim were denied to them by subsequent governments since Independence. At an event organised jointly by city-based Budhan Theatre and Indian Council for Social Science Research,New Delhi,a seminar and plays depicting the struggle of more than 20 tribes,were staged at the city’s Gujarat Sahitya Parishad.
