Aryan Khan shows the middle finger from Bengaluru balcony, lands in controversy; fans more concerned with his ‘rare’ smile
Director Aryan Khan was seen partying with friends in Bengaluru, when he showed the middle finger from the balcony of the restaurant.
Aryan Khan lands in hot water after his video goes viral.
He celebrated and questioned Bollywood all in one go with his directorial debut Ba***ds of Bollywood, and now Aryan Khan is back in the news, for not so pleasant reasons. In a video that is going viral all over the internet, Aryan can be seen greeting the media and the fans from a restaurant balcony. Shah Rukh Khan’s son was seen briefly putting up his middle fingers, a gesture that has since become the talking point of all tabloids across the country.
The director was with Kannada actor Zaid Khan, son of Karnataka minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, and actor Dhanya Ramkumar during a promotional event for his brand D’yavol. He came out to the balcony of the restaurant in order to greet the media and his fans. In a moment of, presumably, youthful exuberance, Aryan flashed his middle fingers to the crowd before quickly waving and smiling to the crowd. It was at this point that the video started going viral, and people started criticising the young director.
On X (formerly Twitter), many called his actions callous and careless, accusing him of not being mindful about his behaviour. A user on X wrote, “Aryan Khan flashing the middle finger is akin to the elite flashing the middle finger to the common people. That’s the rule in India, not an exception.”
However, Aryan’s fans weren’t concerned whether he was channelling his inner Jordan from Rockstar or whether it was just a gesture in jest. They were more concerned with the fact that the stoic director was seen smiling. As a running joke, Aryan is often accused by the people he works with of never smiling, and it was even referenced in his show. Fans wrote comments, like, “Who says he doesn’t smile?” and “Finally, he smiled.”
