Ankita is a fact-checker, deputy copy editor. She is a certified Google News Initiative, India Training Network trainer for online verification and fact-checking. She has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, with an MA in mass communication, both from RTM, Nagpur University. She also has a PGTD in Cyber law and Information Technology and Intellectual Property Rights. Ankita is currently pursuing her PhD in mass communication and journalism.
Since the recent earthquake, an image showing a damaged building has been shared on various social media websites, along with the claim that three people have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir.
