The UGC Chief has told indianexpress.com that there are plans to merge JEE Main and NEET with CUET UG from next year.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is “aiming” to announce the results of the CUET-UG around September 7, a senior official from the NTA told The Indian Express.

Following complaints of technical glitches in the second phase of the exam, the NTA has taken a series of measures, including additional technical manpower, more mock tests at exam centres and increased server capacity, to ensure smooth conduct of the CUET in the next phase starting August 17.

The UGC Chief and NTA have informed that the CUET UG 2022 exam has been postponed for 11,000 candidates whose exam centre city preference could not be accommodated in Phase 4.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad has released the result for the TS EAMCET 2022. This year, Polu Lakshmi Sai Lohith Reddy earned the first rank in the Engineering stream and Neha has earned the first rank in Agriculture exam.

Out of 2.6 lakh candidates who cleared the JEE Main, a total of 1.6 lakh students, including 50 foreign nationals, have registered for the JEE Advanced 2022, which will determine admissions to 23 IITs across India.

Students at IIT Bombay withdrew their week-long relay hunger strike against fee hike. This happened following an assurance from the institute that the decision to increase fee will be reviewed. The administration softened its stand after initially justifying the hike in public statements.

NTA is planning to declare the results for the NEET UG 2022 exam in the last week of August. “At this moment, we are trying our best to announce it by the fourth week of August. The NEET answer key will be released a few days before that,” said the NTA official.
