Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old man from Utah, has been arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in connection with the murder of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead during a public event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. Announcing his arrest, Utah Governor Spencer Cox and FBI Director Kash Patel expressed confidence that they have a water-tight case against Robinson after the high-profile political assassination Cox revealed that a family member of Robinson's reached out to a friend, who then contacted authorities with information that Tyler had confessed or implied that he carried out the shooting. “I want to thank the family members of Tyler Robinson who did the right thing,” Cox said.
