Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro broke into a dance at a weekend rally in Caracas, using the moment to repeat his call for peace as the United States increases military and political pressure on his government.

Videos went viral on social media showed Maduro jumping, moving his arms and swaying to an electronic track built from his own voice. The loop repeated in English: “No war, no crazy war. Peace, peace, yes peace.” Supporters waved flags as state media broadcast the footage.

Speaking at the Student Day event, Maduro urged young people to reach out to students in the US “Connect with student movements and students in the United States and tell them: ‘Stop the war. No to war. Venezuela wants peace,’” he said.
