Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, officially unveiled the Redmi Note 15 on January 6. The new mid-range smartphone was launched alongside the Redmi Pad Pro 2, which packs a massive 12,000mAh battery. From hardware specifications to price to offers, here’s everything you need to know about the new smartphone and tablet.
The latest entrant in Redmi’s popular Note series, the Redmi Note 15, is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and features a massive 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company, this screen offers up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness.
Redmi has refreshed both the design and camera on the Note 15, swapping the squarish rear camera island for a large circular module and upgrading the main camera to 108MP from 50MP on the previous generation.

And while the 8MP ultrawide is the same as last year, you no longer get the 2MP macro shooter. Xiaomi says the Redmi Note 15 is IP66, which means it can easily withstand dust and water splashes even during heavy rain.
Running on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15 out of the box, the phone will get 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches and is backed by a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging.
The base variant of the Redmi Note 15 that comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 22,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version can be purchased for Rs 24,999, but you can get up to Rs 3,000 off with select bank cards. It will go on sale starting January 9.

Alongside the new entrant in the popular Note series, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. The 5G-enabled tablet comes with a 12.1-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and packs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 under the hood.
Packing in a huge 12,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro comes with a quad speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. You also get an 8MP back and front camera for things like scanning documents and video calls.
The Wi-Fi only model of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro that comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 22,999, while the 5G variant can be purchased for Rs 25,999. If you want more storage and 5G connectivity, the 8GB RAM and 256GB model will be available for Rs 25,999.
The company is also offering instant discounts of up to Rs 2,000 for Axis Bank, SBI and ICICI credit card holders. It will go on sale in India on January 12 and can be purchased both offline and online.
