Trump to host Zelenskyy and European leaders today: Here’s the full schedule

According to the schedule, the meeting between the US and the Ukrainian President will take place around 1:15 pm ET (10:45 pm IST) at the White House.

US President Donald Trump will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a group of European leaders at the White House on Monday, days after his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

Zelenskyy confirmed his arrival in Washington late Sunday, writing on X: “I have already arrived in Washington, tomorrow I am meeting with President Trump. Tomorrow we are also speaking with European leaders. I am grateful to @POTUS for the invitation. We all share a strong desire to end this war quickly and reliably. And peace must be lasting.”

Washington and its European allies could offer Ukraine a NATO-style security guarantee as part of a potential peace deal, Trump envoy Steve Witkoff told CNN. He said it was “the first time we had ever heard the Russians agree to that” and called the move “game-changing.”

The White House outlined the sequence of the engagements as follows:

12:00 pm ET (9:30 pm IST) – European leaders arrive at the South Portico of the White House. Media crews and photographers to cover the arrival.

1:00 pm ET (10:30 pm IST) – Trump greets Zelenskyy at the White House.

1:15 pm ET (10:45 pm IST) – The two leaders move into a private Oval Office meeting with Vice President JD Vance. This is the first time the three meet since their tense encounter in February.

2:15 pm ET (11:45 pm IST) – Trump welcomes European leaders in the State Dining Room, followed by a group photo in the Cross Hall.

2:30 pm ET (12:00 am IST Tuesday) – Trump participates in a family photo with European leaders.

3:00 pm ET (12:30 am IST Tuesday) – Trump, Zelenskyy and European leaders convene in the East Room for a high-stakes multi-lateral meeting focused on ending the war in Ukraine.
