In a rescue operation by the Kurdish project YPG (People’s Protection Units) and SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces), a group of people were liberated from the ISIS terrorists in Syria’s Raqqa city. As a sign of the battle coming to an end, one of the rescued woman expressed her happiness by ripping off her black robe, imposed by ISIS on all female civilians under their strict sharia rules. Not just that, she jumped in delight, screamed at the top of her voice, kissed the ground and hugged all the soldiers to thank them.

A Kurdish journalist, Nazim Dastan, also posted a video on Twitter that captured civilians fleeing as soon as they were freed, including the woman.
