Rahul Dravid, known for his composed and level-headed nature, found himself in an unusual situation in Bengaluru, his hometown. A goods auto-rickshaw hit his car on Cunningham Road, not far from the iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
A video from the site, which has since gone viral, showed Dravid arguing with the auto driver. No one was injured in the incident and there was no visible damage to Dravid’s vehicle.
The X handle of Indian Express Bengaluru shared the video on the platform saying, “Goods auto driver collided with #RahulDravid’s car on Cunningham Road..after argument Rahul left the place. No complaint filed.”

As the video went viral, fans flooded social media with “Indiranagar ka Gunda” memes.
After steering India to a historic victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup, Dravid, 52, stepped down as the national team’s head coach. However, he’s not staying away from the game—he’s joined Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2025. Dravid, who was part of RR from 2011 to 2013, is set to take on a new challenge, hoping to bring the trophy back to Jaipur after their long wait since 2008.
