The heat waves in North India are getting worse by the day. While many social media users are sharing how air conditioners are hardly managing to offer respite from the soaring temperatures, a video showing water from an air conditioner being redirected to fill a water cooler is being hailed as an ultimate “jugaad”.

In a video that is being shared widely on Instagram and X, a pipe is seen connecting an air conditioner on the first floor with a cooler on the ground floor.

The video was shared on Instagram by @kiddaan with the caption, “India is not for beginners.” The caption also said, “AC condensate water can contain mold, mildew, and bacteria, which, when aerosolized by the cooler, can cause respiratory issues and infections. Despite the creative ingenuity, caution is advised due to potential health hazards.”
