For Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar marks a major career milestone. In his 15-year-long career since his debut with Band Baaja Baaraat, this is his first solo film to come close to the Rs 500 crore mark in India. His previous biggest grosser, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, had crossed Rs 500 crore worldwide, but that figure was achieved over its entire theatrical run. Dhurandhar, on the other hand, has outperformed all of Ranveer’s previous releases and continues to grow strongly at the box office.
