If you have seen the film ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ then you must be aware of hundreds of iterations of the masked superhero. From Miles Morales to Pravitr Prabhakar, an Indian version of Spider-Man, the computer-animated film covered different variations of the superhero in alternate universes.

While one version of Spider-Man known as Spider-Punk plays the guitar, no version of the superhero played the tabla. If you are fond of the Marvel superhero, then this video might interest you.

Kiran Pal, a musician and tabla artist, posted a video on Instagram dressed in a Spider-Man costume and playing the tabla. “Spiderman returns…..Playing a great Tirkit Kaidha in Teentaal,” he captioned the clip. After his mesmerising performance, he even did the action of shooting a web.

“Ustad Peter Hussain – Into the tablaverse,” commented a user. “Ustaad peter husain. Marvel gharana,” said another. “Spiderman – in the home,” wrote a third. “Spiderman on his way to India’s got talent,” another person posted. “Peter Parker at Ambani’s house,” joked yet another.

In June, Mumbai Police used a clip from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and pointed out that only two people should travel in two-wheelers. The Mumbai Police shared a clip that showed Marvel comics villain Spot, talking to what appears to be a family of four commuting in one bike. Spot addresses the commuters and says, “That’s very dangerous”.

While sharing this clip on Instagram, the Mumbai Police wrote, “No matter which multi-verse you are in, safety is always the canon. #SlingingIntoSafety #AcrossTheRiderVerse #SafetyIsCannon”.
