A video showing Dhoni's interaction with the fan has gone viral. Known for his composed demeanor even during intense cricket matches, Dhoni stands out as a paragon of leadership. In the clip, the fan runs to Dhoni, and bows down to touch his feet. A security guard is seen approaching them to take the fan away. Dhoni, with this arm over the fan's shoulder, walks with him, trying to calm him down. Multiple guards converge to escort the fan out of the field. Dhoni's simple, kind gesture at this point is what captured the hearts of many social media users and cricket fans. As the guards catch hold of the fan, trying to pull him away from Dhoni, the player, initially, can be seen trying to gently push the guards in a gesture to suggest they need to calm down. Dhoni tried to protest the fan from the aggressive guards, before letting it go.
