Heavy fog and severe pollution have impeded all transportation in Delhi-NCR, although flight operations in New Delhi were delayed yet continued despite limited visibility, as usual.
As foggy conditions persisted in Delhi-NCR, multiple trains encountered interruptions on Monday morning, and over 20 trains have been cancelled, as shown in the IRCTC status.
Fog in the nation’s capital is caused by severe weather and pollutants, and notably, the AQI has dropped to “severe plus” levels.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the national capital has an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 483 at 7 a.m.
