Autorickshaws and trucks in India are known for their vibrant and elaborate decor, paired with witty one-liners or meaningful shayaris painted over them. Truck drivers sometimes use social messages like “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” on their vehicles.
On Sunday, an X user @samar11 shared a picture of an auto in Bengaluru with a funny message on its backside. The message said, “Love is like walk in the park, Jurassic Park”, referring to the Jurassic Park franchise that revolves around misadventures in a theme park that is overrun with cloned dinosaurs.

Commenting on this post, another X user wrote, “Indeed, Commercial vehicles need to have their own philosophy book published”. Another person remarked, “Bengaluru auto slogans need an exhibition of their own. I’d pay to take it in!”.
The post also prompted others to share similar interesting slogans they have spotted in autos or trucks in Bengaluru and across the country.

In January this year, a picture of an autorickshaw with a poster that makes a point about futile and excessive honking went viral after its picture was shared on Twitter by journalist Jessica Taneja. The poster was designed like a quiz show screen, that asked a question which translated to “What happens when you honk in traffic?”. The options for this were: “a) The traffic lights turn green b) The road becomes wider c) The vehicle starts flying d) Nothing happens”.
This satirical take on unnecessarily honking that only contributes to noise pollution was part of a campaign initiated by ShantiSe, an environmental conservation organisation.
