If you use any ride hailing apps like Uber, Ola or Rapido, then you must be aware of how drivers operate the same vehicles and work for more than one company. A man shared on Twitter a photo of an auto-rickshaw that works for Ola and Rapido but what’s concerning is that it is operating with three different registration numbers, raising questions of safety. The man named Suprit wrote on Twitter, “Another #PeakBangalore moment in E-city. How many registrations is too many registrations? @peakbengaluru.” The auto-rickshaw has attached a temporary number plate displaying its numbers for Ola and Rapido while its registered number is displayed on the number plate. I dread for my safety when this happens! How will @ola_supports or #banglore traffic police track such vehicles in case of crimes,” a woman posted. I expect ola / rapido / uber would use the actual (RTO provided) registration number of the vehicle,” another user commented. “Dude’s moonlighting,” joked another. “Looks like he rented the auto and he has registered OLA/Rapido using previous rentals,” another netizen said.
