Influencer and YouTuber Logan Paul has stirred up attention on social media as he arrived in India on Sunday with MrBeast, the world’s biggest YouTuber. The American creators landed in Mumbai to launch their brands, Feastable and Prime. While MrBeast, James Stephen Donaldson, gained popularity with his video game footage and engaging content, Paul is one controversy’s favourite child.
In 2017, Paul ignited a massive outrage against him after he filmed a video of a suicide victim in Japan. The video showed him laughing and was further turned down by YouTube.
Born on April 1, 1995, Logan Alexander Paul is popular for his wrestling career. He gained worldwide prominence with his content on his social media handles. Besides content creation, Paul has also been an actor and entrepreneur. He made guest appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Bizaardvark, and went on to appear in films, including The Thinning (2016) and its sequel, The Thinning: New World Order (2018).

Talking about his subscribers, he was ranked among Forbes’ highest-paid YouTubers in 2017, 2018, and 2021 and enjoys over 23 million subscribers on the video streaming platform. Paul co-founded Prime, the beverage company, and Lunchly, the snack brand. In 2018, he launched the Impaulsive podcast, which has more than four million subscribers on YouTube.
In December 2017, Paul suffered a public outrage when he filmed a dead body in the Aokigahara Forest, popular as the “Suicide Forest” near Mount Fuji, Japan. The video showed the influencer and his friends discovering a dead body hanging in the forest and further laughing and joking about it. Soon after the backlash, Paul issued a public apology for his disrespectful behaviour.
