The Bangalore International Airport inducted first ever 14 member woman fire fighting squad into their ARFF squad on March 8, international women’s day
The Bengaluru Airport Friday posted a video hailing their first-ever squad of woman firefighters, who have been inducted into their Aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) squad.
The video, which was posted on the Bengaluru airport’s official Twitter handle, salutes the women who made history by becoming part of Asia’s largest squad of women aviation firefighters.

The video is a celebration of the milestone, and shows how the feat was achieved.
The Bangalore International Airport inducted first-ever 14-member women fire-fighting squad into their ARFF squad on March 8, which is International Women’s Day. With the move, the airport became the first one in the country to have women firefighters.
