Jimmy Donaldson, fondly known as MrBeast, has caught the Internet’s attention after he expressed his wish to film a video with Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli. Speaking in an interview with NDTV that was aired on Monday, the world’s most-popular YouTuber said he wants to collaborate with Kohli.

“Hey, Virat Kohli, I’m trying to film with you,” MrBeast said, while highlighting India as one of his most loyal fan bases.

This isn’t the first time MrBeast has reached out to Kohli. In 2025, he posted a public message on X. “Hey! Anyway, I could get you in a video?”, he wrote, tagging Kohli.

The clip from the interview quickly went viral, garnering a wave of reactions. “virat kohli is not only a superstar but a global icon. his popularity is unmatched and he’s the last of the superstars,” a user wrote. “This is what virat kohli has earned all over world and we still compare randoms with him,” another user commented.

“Virat shouldn’t meet any of these streamers or anyone. Anyways he won’t have anything to gain with it by meeting them. He should maintain his exclusivity,” a third user reacted.

In another major announcement for Indian fans, MrBeast also confirmed the participation of popular YouTuber CarryMinati in the upcoming season of Beast Games. “CarryMinati is actually in season two of Beast Games. He’s in the show, and I think people are going to be super excited when they see that,” he said.

Beast Games Season 2 is set to premiere on Prime Video on January 7, 2026. The new season will feature 200 contestants, 100 of the world’s strongest individuals and 100 of the smartest, competing for a staggering USD 5 million prize.
