With over 12.1 million views, the post caught the attention of X’s owner Elon Musk. “Wow, congrats!” Musk wrote. Many social media users reacted to MrBeast’s post. One said, “I’m literally shaking and crying right now I can’t believe we finally did it.” Another user commented, “much deserved greatest youtuber of all time.”

Born in Wichita, Kansas, Jimmy Donaldson gained recognition for his fast-paced videos featuring challenges and giveaways. He was merely 13 when he began his YouTube channel in 2012. However, it was in 2017 when one of his videos garnered over 10,000 views in just a few days.
Donaldson won several prestigious accolades during his YouTube journey, including the Creator of the Year Award, that too, four years in a row. In 2023, Time named him one of the world’s 100 most influential people. He was also on a Forbes list for the highest paid YouTube creator in 2022.
Last month, Donaldson challenged the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Series to a boxing match, sharing a picture that showed the subscriber counts of their respective channels. Donaldson wrote, “I challenge the CEO of T-Series to a boxing match.”

Swedish YouTuber Felix Kjellberg, popular as PewDiePie, was the highest earning YouTuber in the world. Known for his video game commentaries, he had surpassed T-Series to become the most subscribed YouTube channel. However, in 2017, Disney decided to cut ties with him, followed by the YouTuber removing his videos that contained Nazi references.
During the PewDiePie vs T-Series rivalry, MrBeast bought billboards and several television and radio advertisements to help PewDiePie gain more subscribers than T-Series.
