Dance battles do not always evoke violence. Recently, a video surfaced from Sumner High School in Florida. The video featured a young student initiating a dance battle and ending his performance with a round of applause, a move perceived as a challenge. The video then showed the young student’s teacher accepting the challenge and showing her moves, garnering a thundering round of cheering and applause from the crowd gathered around.

The clip was posted online by Natalie.McClain (@McClainEducates), the Assistant Principal at the school.

While sharing this video, she wrote, “Our 8th grade Stingrays having a well deserved exam dance break. Of course our teachers are ending 2022 with a win. Love my Stingrays Happy Holidays @HCPS_SumnerHS”.
