A chilling incident recently unfolded at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, where a young boy was seen walking along the elevated track of a ride at the amusement park without any safety equipment. The incident occurred on the Capital BlueCross Monorail, a ride that gives an aerial tour of the park.

The viral video, recorded by a visitor and posted on Sunday, shows the child walking back and forth on the track while onlookers below urge him to stay calm and find a way down. As the situation intensified, a bystander climbed onto a nearby structure, then made his way onto the track. He cautiously approached the boy, eventually lifting him into his arms and passing him down to safety with the assistance of another visitor.

According to NBC News, the monorail track stands approximately 20 feet above the ground. The ride was not operational at the time of the incident. In a statement, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts confirmed that the child got separated from his parents before managing to enter a secured area leading to the monorail platform.
