His wife, Carrie Johnson, shared the family’s time on Instagram, posting photos and videos of the occasion. In one of the videos, a party performer can be seen dressed as Disney’s Tinker Bell.
Carrie highlighted the moment, saying, “Romy’s face when Tinkerbell entered the hall was a picture. She couldn’t believe it. That was total magic.”
The couple’s children, Romy and her brothers, Wilfred, 5, and Frank, 2, wore matching pink fairy wings, and their youngest sister, Poppy, was seen in a fairy-themed top.
Carrie also talked about the moment she misplaced one of their sons. “I genuinely thought I’d lost Frank until I realised he was just taking a kip in the ball pit,” she wrote.
Videos showed the politician, who served as the prime minister from 2019 to 2022, dancing alongside the children’s entertainer.
Carrie appreciated her husband’s commitment to the birthday bash. “Also, shout out to my amazing husband, who not only dressed as a pixie to please our little girl but also attempted the ‘Cha Cha Slide’ to get everyone on the dancefloor. Legend.”
“It’s become a bit of a tradition that we dress up for our kids’ birthday parties but think we’ll both be pleased to see the back of those rubber pixie ears. The things you do for your kids!” Carrie wrote.
