Leading Global Brands of 2025: As we look towards 2025, forecasts from the United Nations indicate that global economic growth is likely to remain stagnant at 2.8%, replicating the figure for 2024 and falling short of the pre-pandemic average of 3.2%.

Consequently, it is expected to drive significant evolution among brands worldwide as they adapt to changing economic dynamics and increasingly fragmented consumer perceptions.

Despite these challenges, the world’s 500 most valuable brands are experiencing remarkable growth, with their collective worth rising by 10% year-on-year—from USD 8.6 trillion in 2024 to nearly USD 9.5 trillion in 2025, according to the latest Brand Finance report.

The United States and China continue to dominate the rankings, although both nations have seen a slight decline in representation.

American brands account for 194 of the top 500, down from 203 last year, while 67 Chinese brands make it to the list, a decrease from 72 in 2024.

Among the notable trends, technology brands have solidified their status at the top of the value spectrum, with four out of the five most valuable brands in 2025 falling within this sector.
