Oppo plans to bring the A7 smartphone to India in the coming days. The Chinese company took to Twitter to announce the debut of the A7 in the country. This is essentially a mid-end smartphone, featuring a waterdrop-style notched display and the Snapdragon 450 processor. Oppo A7 is already available in Nepal and China.
The company has made a lot of emphasis on the design language of the A7 and it shows. The phone sports a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch and a screen resolution of 1520×720 pixels. As we have mentioned before, the handset is powered by the Snapdragon 450, Qualcomm’s mid-end processor. The device either comes in 3GB or 4GB of RAM options and 32GB of standard internal storage. A microSD card slot is also available for memory expansion ( up to 256GB internal storage). The phone is backed by a 4,230mAH battery and runs on ColorOS 5.2, based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The device further offers a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. In the front, it features a 16MP sensor for taking selfies with AI capabilities. When it launches in India, Oppo A7 will be made available in two colour options: Glaze Blue and Glaring Gold.

We do not know what would be the price of the Oppo A7 in India. We expect the device to cost in the vicinity of Rs 15,999 when it retail shelves in India. Oppo A7 competes against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Mi A2 and Honor 9N, etc.
