Dell’s new 17-inch Windows laptop comes with a 360-degree hinge

Dell has launched a new 17-inch Windows 10 convertible laptop at Computex 2016. The laptop is world’s first 2-in-1 device with a 17-inch display.

Dell has unveiled a whole new range of Inspiron 2-in-1 devices aimed at students and enterprenuers. The company says its Inspiron 17 could also be an ideal desktop replacement notebook.

The new range of Dell Inspiron 2-in-1s feature aluminium design and are powered by Intel’s sixth-gen Core processor based on Skylake architecture. They feature 360 degree hinge that enables four modes to suit the user’s needs.

The Dell Inspiron 7000 series comes with FHD screen and backlit keyboard. The laptop also supports Windows Hello facial recognition feature. For those concerned about audio, there is WavesMaxxAudio Pro support.

Dell’s latest Inspiron series adopts USB Type-C port for charging. The Dell Inspiron 7000 series will go on sale beginning June 2 in US and China at a price of $749. Dell has also announced cheaper variants with optional Windows Hello infrared cameras and slightly lower resolution displays.
