Punjab is led by a man who is pretty familiar with the ground in Shreyas Iyer, who captained KKR to their 3rd title last season. He also orchestrated one of the worst days in his former franchise’s history when Kolkata failed to chase down 112 in Mullanpur a couple of weeks ago, enabling Punjab to defend the lowest total in the league’s history. While PBKS suffered a loss against RCB in their last match, they are likely to continue with the same team.

KKR, meanwhile, have to win 5 out of their remaining 6 matches to even have a sniff at the playoffs. The team were thrashed by Gujarat Titans in their last match but are unlikely to change much about their lineup. Rahmanullah Gurbaz is likely to open alongside Sunil Narine and depending on the pitch if they do make a change, they might opt to stay with Moeen Ali or give Rovman Powell a chance.
