Asia Cup 2025 Points Table: Sri Lanka defeated Afghanistan on Thursday to qualify for the Super 4s. Afghanistan was eliminated and Bangladesh qualified as the second team from Group B. Pakistan defeated UAE on Wednesday to qualify for the Super 4s and will face India on Sunday. On Tuesday, Bangladesh stayed alive in the Asia Cup after they defeated Afghanistan by 8 runs in a close-run affair. On Monday, Sri Lanka raced to the top of group B after edging past Hong Kong by 4 wickets while Oman lost to UAE on the same day. India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the Asia Cup on Sunday in a rather lopsided contest where the Men in Blue refused to let up the pressure, forcing their neighbours to wilt under it.

On Saturday, Sri Lanka started their Asia Cup campaign with a thumping win against Bangladesh. A day before, Pakistan opened their Asia Cup points tally by defeating Oman by 93 runs. India have already having played their first match against UAE on Wednesday and blew them away by 9 wickets, chasing down a paltry 57-run target in just 4.3 overs.

Elsewhere, Afghanistan had taken on Hong Kong in the opening match of the tournament with the former running away with a thumping 94-run win. Meanwhile, on Thursday, Bangladesh’s match with Hong Kong had more of a competitive edge but Litton Das’s team ultimately won by 7 wickets.

Asia Cup 2025 Points Table, Teams Standings

The teams in the Asia Cup is divided into 2 groups with India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman in one group while Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Bangladesh in another group. The top two teams qualifying from these two groups will face off in the Super 4s with the best two playing in the final on September 28.

Sri Lanka and Bangladesh qualified for the Super 4s while Afghanistan who lost to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka were eliminated with just 1 win. Meanwhile, Hong Kong finished bottom of the table with 0 points and 3 losses.

Similarly, in Group A, India lead the chart with 4 points after thumping UAE by 9 wickets and then demolishing Pakistan by 7 wickets. Pakistan are second having won 2 and lost one, thus becoming the second team to qualify for the super 4s after India. UAE are third with 2 defeats and 1 win while Oman are 4th with 2 defeats.
