Mamata warns CPI-M on arms recovery

Mamata said she would not brook interference by any political party in the matter.

In a veiled message to the CPI-M which alleged that arms recovery from offices of Left parties was “politically arranged”,Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said law would take its own course and she would not brook interference by any political party.

“The administration will do its own job with regard to the recovery of arms. And no political interference would be accepted,be it from Trinamool Congress or any other party.

I do not belong to the CPI-M,but those who commit wrongs and those who tolerate are the same,” she said.

No party would be singled out by the administration while doing its job,she assured.

She said the arms haul appeared to be more than those recovered during wartime and it is a matter of grave concern.

“I am urging that no one should take law into hands,” the chief minister said.
