CHANDIGARH, Oct 6: It was a moment of pride for the parents of children who presented the dance show at Tagore Theatre this evening.

Titled quot; The Unknown Talentquot; and organised by West-17 and IEC School of Art and Fashion, the show was a dance performed by children groomed with the help of Nandan Singh of West 17.

Children between the age group of 4-23 years joined hands to charm the audience that included their parents. The show, that began with a shardanjali to the Kargil martyrs, was an interesting blend of the old and new songs on which the children performed. Starting with raghupati, kahin karta hoga, jiya jale jaan jale, le gayi le gayi, the youngsters did justice to the dance numbers by presenting a spirited performance. With group dances so popular in Hindi cinema, a majority of the performances were in groups.

Popular Punjabi actor and cricket player Yog Raj was the chief guest on the occasion. Rupinder Singh, selected as Mr Physique in the Graviera Contest was also honoured along with Khushboo Kochar, first runner up in the Miss North India and Pankaj Bhatia.
