Willis, Moore sued

LOS ANGELES: Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s former nanny has sued the Hollywood super-couple, claiming she was “shamelessly exploited and abused” while caring for their three children. But a lawyer for Willis and Moore said the suit by Kim Tannahill was without merit and filed by her only because she was sued first by the star couple. Tannahill, who began working for the family in March 1994, claims she was denied a social life during her employment.

Smart pig

RAMSEY:A pot-bellied pig named Honeymoon came to the rescue of a New Jersey couple on Monday, waking them to warn of a fire in their home. As fire broke out in the laundry room of the home of the couple, the persistent pig scratched at their bedroom door until they woke up. “Honey was the only one who smelled the smoke,” the lady said. “Our two dogs slept through the whole thing. Pigs are a lot smarter than dogs, clearly,” said her husband.

Left for dead

NORTH PORT (Florida): For four days, a 14-year-old US girl hid in the woods, afraid that the man who raped her, stabbed her and clubbed her until her eyes swelled shut would come back to finish the job. On seeing the flashing blue lights of a patrol car , she dragged herself from a palmetto thicket and flagged down a passing motorist. She told police the man who attacked her was a family friend who took her out for cigarettes last Tuesday. She emerged from the woods on Saturday night. She was stabbed nearly 30 times at an abandoned housingsite, then left to die as her family mounted an around-the-clock search.
