Workshop on tracing missing persons

The workshop is being organised jointly by Haryana State Red Cross Society, Indian Red Cross and the Regional International Red Cross Society.

He suggested that the Haryana State Red Cross Society should organise a similar workshop involving all the 19 districts of Haryana so as to review the progress of the Red Cross societies8217; activities carried out by the district Red Cross societies in the state.

Bruce Biber, regional delegate of International Red Cross Society said that there were 175 National Red Cross Societies working towards solving the problem of separation and loss of contact between family members.

K.L. Batra, secretary of Haryana Red Cross highlighted Red Cross activities of the state branch. The workshop will be attended by the delegates from Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, including one delegate from Bangladesh.
