Twitter elite send half the tweets,study finds

LONDON: Twitter may have over 200 million users,but half of the tweets shared on the microblogging site are actually generated by a group of elite members,a new study has found. Researhers at search engine Yahoo! who looked at about 260 million tweets found 50 per cent of the tweets are shared by a group of 20,000 users of networking site,The Telegraph reported.
